Remember…

Hello,

My dad sent this to me in an email a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed it and thought to share it with others, but then I held off. Seems appropriate to share now more than ever.

It is hard to wrap my mind around the scope of yesterday’s tragedy. I am not a parent yet so that blessing and bond is one I have yet to fully understand. I do however, understand the power of family, love and loss. Such violence, especially targeted at such innocence, is unfathomable.

When it comes to the impact of a child, it is unmeasurable. Their smile, their delicate innocence, their potential - they truly give so many a true purpose in their lives.

Continued heavy hearts and prayers go out to all parents, children and the immediate people impacted by the senseless tragedy in Connecticut.

With love,
Alli

There is definitely variety in this playlist, so make sure to check them out.

Enjoy.

Think The Best

Although my posts have deviated from the “fitness / training” theme recently, part of our Mission with Girls Gone Strong is to educate and encourage a strong body, mind and character.

The following is from a book titled “Choosing Civility” by Dr. P.M. Forni

Rule #3: Think the Best

“We must be as courteous to a man as we are to a picture, which we are willing to give the avantage of a good light.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” – Paul of Tarsus
